Omg freaking out because my neighbors ....

....have bed bugs. They live above me to the left, but the maintenance man today told me they were throwing their beds off the balcony to the dumpster because they had bed bugs !!! Now I'm concerned if they can walk down to my apt or thru air vents or something ?!?!!

Someone please tell me some truth about this because I'm freaking out. No one in my house is bit and there's no "signs" of bed bugs in my home but what are the things I need to do to prevent them from coming from their apt to mine?? Or anything to watch for ?? Please help ...!!
