Feeling sad I have a threat miscarriage

I've been bloated to the point I feel my stomach is going to explode so I went to the hospital and said that at 5 weeks and 6 days my hcg level was at 8000 and that is very low he said. They told to prepare as I might have a miscarriage. Ladies please help has this ever happened to anyone and still had their baby?
