Do you volunteer?

So I saw a commercial talking about how everyone needs to volunteer and it made me wonder how many people volunteer. I volunteered a lot when I was younger. But as I've gotten older it's gotten harder to volunteer. Now I just volunteer at school whenever I can but it's usually to help incoming freshman learn about what's around campus.

Everyone should volunteer as much as they can, being good to people shouldn't ever be something to not have time for.

I do! I volunteer at a place for children with disabilities. We do tutoring and like an intramural sort of thing. It's so much fun. The kids love it. Also I volunteer at a woman's shelter.

I put some time in each month supporting other authors. I make WordPress plugins and release them for free, and I do free tech support on them when my less technically inclined comrades contact me for help.

Volunteering doesn't have to be in person.

Absolutely! Always have and always will!!
I have been fostering animals since I was in high school...I still do.
I'm one of the few people in my animal rescue with the time and experience to raise bottle feeds, so I'm frequently very full and exhausted. But I wouldn't have it any other way!

Volunteer work is good for the soul. And almost everybody has time to donate even just 1 hour per month. There are endless opportunities to volunteer, there just has to be a desire to seek them out.
