C Section Questions

Hi I'm 26 weeks 4 days and my placenta still has not moved up. My next appt is at 31 weeks and if I still have placenta previa, I will most likely have a C section.

My question is, at how many weeks do you usually schedule your C section? How long does the procedure take and what's the recovery like??? I'm super scared of having one and would love to hear some of your stories, good and bad.
