I currently have a pitbull mix and I am 9 weeks pregnant I've already had family members on both sides comment about what we are going to do with the dog? What do you mean what are we going to do with dog. We aren't doing anything with the dog. If he becomes a danger to the baby we will deal with it but as of now he is still our dog, he has never bitten anyone, and he plays with children just fine. I do not feel that my loving pitbull is going to hurt my child. He's never hurt anyone and yeah I know the whole well he might not like that he gets less attention and it might make him mean. I hate to break it to you but he literally sleeps all day now so he won't be missing any attention he will still get taken out, fed, watered, and bathed, and when he's feeling playful he will still get his toy thrown for him when he drops it on you. I can not begin to describe the anger I feel when people say but he's a pitbull. Yes how observant of you. He is a pitbull and that doesn't mean a damn thing. He's just the new "bad" breed, and I love him to death so nothing anyone says will make me get rid of him before my child is born. He is part of my family, he is my furbaby and unless he tries to show harm to my newborn he stays.
