just ventingggg
I'm 23 years young, I graduated from college last June and then here I am graduating again but went in a totally different direction. So I am currently finishing up my training for law enforcement. Anybody who is in law enforcement, corrections, crossing guards, traffic in NYC knows that a lot of money goes into this position. Omg, my mom has been the worst! She has been so unsupportive. We constantly argue, my day starts at 4 am and I don't get home some days until 7 pm. Her and my brother literally use dishes and don't clean up after themselves. (My brother is 14 with no chores, no responsibilities. Mind you, I dozed off before I put the food away but contributed to none of the dishes in the sink) Last Friday I came home, cooked and dozed off. I normally don't sleep too long due to my schedule and she woke me up yelling at me "to wash her fucken dishes and put the food away. But she literally woke me up out my sleep yelling as if the house was on fire. She was yelling and telling me how I don't do shxt around the house and she does everything. Normally I wake up Saturday morning when everyone is gone and just tidy up. Two times in a row I have cleaned her period blood from the tub and not even mentioned it to her. (I mentioned it that day bc she pissed me off) I explained to her that my brother could wash the dishes after he uses them and their wouldn't really be a problem with things in the sink. She flipped on me and literally tried to hit me when she didn't like what I had to say. Then she was asking me for $500 a month, to pay the light bill and my phone bill. None of which I mind, but she wanted me to put my account info on the Con Ed bill. I told her I would not! But I'd get a money order and she could do what she wants with the money. She threw a fit, yelling saying how I don't do shxt ! She constantly has her hand out for something and I'm constantly reminding her that I'm in this training and it is NOT cheap. My graduation uniform itself was $500. I've spent over $3000 or more just to get this job. I don't ask my mom for anything, through this entire training program I have gotten everything on my own (as I should) even when I didn't get paid for 7-8 weeks I held my own. I buy my own food, clothes, uniform etc. & When I come home she's locked up in her room,
I'm just venting, I don't really expect anyone to reply.
