Weird smelling urine

Sorry it's TMI but the last few days my urine has smelled kind of strong. It's a weird smell and kind of hard to describe. I haven't eaten anything different or weird lately. I do tend to get a sweet smell when I have a UTI but this doesn't smell the same. I'm worried because the only thing I can think would be maybe gestational diabetes (my test is this coming Wednesday). Anyone know of any reasons this might be or experienced this? I'm 28 weeks.
