When to try for baby number 2. 😊

Hello! Our little one is 12 weeks, I know that I really want to try for another eventually. I just wanted opinions of others who have multiple children already. What are your experiences having then close together vs 2-3 years apart? Trying to decide what course we should go for. I know I want to wait until she is at least a year old because I ended up having a c section and want to make sure I'm completely healed. But my original plan was to wait until she was potty trained. Now I'm thinking it may be easier to have them close together and go through this diaper stage all at once lol. Please vote and share your different experiences with me. 😊

On the first child's second birthday! I took a class and it says that's when you get the most healthy and financially secure. Plus developmentally you have kids who can still learn from each other because the age gap isn't significant

We were going to start trying right around when my son turned 2. We decided August of this year after all the weddings I am in are over... well God has a funny sense of humor because I got pregnant shortly after we talked about it and am due in Aug right in between the weddings.  3 more weeks!!

I got pregnant with my second one when my first was six months. I will never regret it they are the best of friends. For me I feel like it was easier the second time around since I already knew what I was doing.

My 2 boys are 18 months apart. So now they are 3.5 and 2. It's great! They play together all the time and get concerned about one another when separated or one is lagging behind. Trying for our third now. baby fever has hit me hard for the one. I'm glad there will be a slight age gap between 2 and 3 though. I think we have been blessed that it's worked out the way we wanted so far.

We plan on trying after our little guy turns one. So by time the second one is born our first one we'll be turning two or two already.

I would give your body time to heal they recommend 2-3 years.  I had a friend who had 4 kids too close together and didn't give her body enough healing time in between, she ended up having to have hysterectomy at 28.

My husband wanted to try again right away. Our little boy is 11 month and I stared actually trying at 10 months
