Atreyu Scott born 7:12am after 3ish hours of labor 😱
When they say your second can come faster I didn't think they meant like 1/4 of the time it took your first. My daughter was almost an 11 hour labor from the time my water broke until the time she was born. This guy was all business. Lost my plug yesterday but only had some mild regular contractions 10-12 mins apart all day that eventually went away in the evening after dinner. Woke up 4am to some moderate crampy contractions that I finally started timing around 4:30am - they were 6 mins apart and still moderate. Felt like bad period pain. By 5:30-6am they were 3.5-4 mins apart and getting difficult to get stuff done through. Around 6 I woke up he SO, called my mom to come get our daughter on the bus, and called the OB to see if we should come in. As we were waiting for my mom I quickly hit transition. I was shaky, sweating, feeling unsure and starting to cry. At this point my contractions were 1-2 mins apart and I wasn't getting a break. The ride to the hospital was luckily only another 15 mins because I was in helluva pain and started feeling like I had to push. Got to the hospital and they rushed to check me in and get me to a room. I told the nurse I felt A LOT of pressure as soon as I was naked and gown was flung on. She checked me and immediately ran to get the OB and nurses. They broke my water and he was born 6 pushes later! It was intense and I was wayyyyy too "with it" this time around to be calm and quiet like I was with my daughter. This time around he had ignited my inner Warrior goddess and I was letting her loose via scream. But hey, it worked and I now have my precious baby
