Tmi is this part of my plug?

Question

I had a cervix check this morning. I'm not dilated but I'm 30% effaced. I've been having some bleeding since my appointment this this morning and then this came out 
Is this part of my plug? Is this normal after my exam? I'm currently 37 w 3 days

I had the same thing at my first check at 37 weeks. Some bleeding that stopped after a couple hours, and then I think part of my mucus plug that was red like that.

Unfortunately that looks just like what I looked like after my 37w exam, it's not your plug, just a side effect of the cervical exam. I had REALLY heavy bleeding after that one. As long as the bleeding turns brown and tapers off in the next 12 hours, my OB said bleeding is normal. They've just jabbed and irritated your cervix.

Just a result of a cervix exam had one today. I was shocked to not have any blood for once.
