When is the right time to start dating again, when you're still in love with your toxic ex-boyfriend who you had a miscarriage with his child? (Two year relationship)

I still firmly believe that there's a deep connection between us. I'm still the only person he can be vulnerable in front of and depend on. And he has been distant when he moved out and when he went back to work. But our whirlwind romance proved to me that love at first sight exists. He is an amazing person, taught me a lot about myself and even with his issues, he was definitely supposed to meet and yes I still have hope that maybe it will work out, but people tell me to just move on. But I'm not sure what do... I'm leaving for a holiday to Ireland in three weeks so that's aunother variable I see the good in him, even when he's a jerk.
