We were diagnosed with a miscarriage at 9 weeks and had our d and c almost 2 weeks ago.  Today our genetic test results came in, and our baby was a girl and had Down syndrome.  My husband's at work, and I don't want to tell him until he's home.  I'm hoping these results don't cause us to hesitate trying again.  In some ways, I'm glad to know there was a reason for the miscarriage, but in another way, I don't want the info to affect our family's future growth.  We have a healthy 19month old girl now, so clearly we can have healthy children.  From what I can see, there is an inceased chance to 1/100 for another pregnancy with Down syndrome.
