any moms started potty training?

Any moms started potty training yet? How did you get started?

I bought a small potty. She just turned one on May 30. She likes to poop every morning upon wake up, almost like clockwork. Her diaper would be filled very quickly after waking up. So I started sitting her on it as soon as she wakes up a few weeks ago. She's pooped and peed it in quite a few times, which I always celebrate with her. I make sure to use the words "poop" and "pee" and accompany it with sign language. She now I think understands the words are associated with the potty but I'm unsure if she grasps that it's associated with her bodily functions. She might, but I can't tell just yet. When I say poop or potty she instinctively turns and points to where her potty is. I let her lead. I'm not pushing her b/c I know it can be early for some babies but if she's ready then we'll continue.  I make sure not to force her to sit on the potty so she doesn't react negatively. When she wants to get up, we get up. So far it seems ok but I have no set expectations on when she'll be out of diapers. Fingers crossed!

I am curious about this too.  My son is pretty much on a schedule when it comes to poops.  My mom suggested to get him a potty and start now... still thinking about it.  I had initially planned to start when he was fully walking.  Little guy is an expert at furniture surfing and walking while holding one hand (super cute btw when I see my hubby and little guy walking).

I started potty training well more like introducing the potty  one week after my baby's first birthday (05/16). She is still not walking but every morning I sit here down in her potty and she actually goes and she is very excited about it. It's never to early to start
