Alcohol and Zoloft?

Can I drink 1 glass of wine if I'm on Zoloft?

Don't quote me on this but I believe you're supposed to avoid alcohol on Zoloft. I think it interacts with alcohol more than some other antidepressants. That said, the risk is that it basically increases the effect of the alcohol and it's not like you're going to have a heart attack or anything lol. I taken Prozac for about 15 years and I've never had any problem drinking but again that's a different drug. Since the effects aren't something is going to send you the hospital, I would say have a glass and if you're fine then you're fine.

If I'm going to drink I usually will not take my medication that day.... Now I know a doctor would frown but I don't drink often.

If yu know yu will go beyond that one properly portioned serving nope !! The after effects of drinking with anti depressants can cause severe depression or a deeper imbalance

You should never drink with antidepressants. Usually that's the first thing a Dr will tell you when they are prescribed.
