3 month old trying to sit up?

Anyone else have a 3 month old (14 weeks) attempting to sit up?
She uses her head and kind of tries to lift herself up. She's still learning how to roll over, of course. But she seems more interested in her attempts to sit up on her own.

Yes and its so frustrating for all of us. He gets so upset he can't sit up on his own, he struggles and fusses and cries I feel so bad. But this is how he will learn.

In action, every time we put him on the swing or propped on a pillow he wants to do this

Mine is 2 months and doing this 😊 she's so independent it's ridiculous

Yeah, every time he is in the swing or boppy now, he is straining to use his stomach muscles to pull himself into a sitting position.  He can't do it on his own or hold himself sitting up without support from me, but man, he wants to.

Yup! My daughter is doing this too! I thought it was weird but seems a lot of babies this age are doing it 👍🏼

My daughter constantly tries to sit up! Sometimes I can't tell if she's trying hard to poop or trying hard to sit up!

My 3 mo old does the same especially in the carseat, and when our dog is sitting in front of her.

Mine has been sitting up with a boppy pillow for a little support since 2.5 months!

Good! Apparently this stomach exercise thing  is perfectly normal! Too bad it's so frustrating for them! 😊

My girl loves to sit up (wth some assistance). She's starting to learn to roll from tummy to back and has always had strong neck muscles. We love sitting in front of a mirror and babbling at "that other baby" 😂
