Beach trip: good idea/ bad idea?
I'm 37 weeks today. I am probably having an induction sometime within this coming week and the beginning of next week.
Baby and I look fine, just had a scan two days ago, and this is the first weekend by the shore that won't be overcast or stormy. My sister and I planned a little beach trip, I've got everything I need (sunscreen that's safe, medicines, emergency kit, etc) and I'm even bringing all my meals prepped and healthy + my blood pressure monitor.
I'm starting to rethink the whole thing. All we want to do is get there early (like 7AM), set up chairs (I have a full on outdoor dining chair to be comfy) and sit at the shore for a little bit. Then by 11-12 walk a little bit on the boardwalk, head back to the cars by 2 and call it a day.
The beach is an hour away.
Should I go? Everyone is telling me it'll be fine and that I packed way more than enough to be comfortable. I really want to go but I just need to hear an unbiased opinion.
