so my breastfeeding consultant told me i should start pumping at 37 weeks, since i have gestational diabetes. i'm assuming nothing bad could happen since she told me it was okay but i am just curious if it will put me into early labor? tonight was my first night pumping ever & i got more than i expected would come out. she pretty much told me i would get a few little drops but i filled the bottom of the bottle. i'm glad i can help my baby get her sugars back to normal with my colostrum. i'm just worried about it making go into labor. any advice would be great since there's not many moms i know who breastfeed let alone ones who have gd & breastfeed. thank you in advance :)
