I don't understand ovulation tracking

I don't understand ovulation tracking 🤔😳 I haven't had a period for over 4 years (due to being on the implant).... started my period on the 7th and ended on the 11th June... when should I start talking ovulation tests?... I'm not sure how regular my periods are 🙈 omg I'm just so confused 😫
