No. At least mine didn't for my vaginal delivery

Not sure about mine but my friends did. She either had to take it off/they'd cut it off for her, or sign a paper saying she refused. It's because it can cause infection or something. But she had a csection so not sure if it makes a difference.

I had an emergency c-section and I didn't have to. I didn't have my rings on because my fingers were already swollen but I wore a necklace the whole time and no one even mentioned them. Guess it depends on your hospital

I wore my rings on a necklace when I was in labor with my first bc weight gain and swelling, I wore my rings on my finger during my second labor, barring more swelling, I'll be wearing them again. They probably won't tell you to take them off.

The hospitals I've given birth at didn't. Unless it was cutting off blood circulation was the only time I've seen/heard of them having to be removed..

Where I had my son they didn't, but I wasn't wearing much besides my gauges, eyebrow ring, nose stud, and a ring (surprised with that because of how badly I swelled). It probably varies by hospital and also how badly you're swelling when you're in L&D.

If your ring is really stuck and cutting off circulation, go to a jeweler. They will have to cut it off but it will save your finger.

Not sure about birth but for a MRI I needed they had to cut a ring off my finger because it was that tight.

Yeah I had to take all mine out before I got the epidural . at the time I had dermal piercings everywhere they all had to come out. Tongue ring ear rings.
