Heartburn or gallbladder?

I've had pain in my chest along rib cage and in the middle of upper back for 7 hours now... it literally happened right after eating 2 sandwiches for dinner. How can I tell if it's heartburn or a gallbladder issue?  No remedies have helped or 2 of the OTC heartburn medicines

That's how I was when I had gallbladder issues. To me it points to gallbladder issues, especially because of it hurting in your back. I would go to urgent care or make a doctors appointment about your concern. Mine was confirmed with an ultrasound.

If you can't keep food down and are still experiencing pain, please go to the ER now.  I had the same issue and it was due to a gallstone that was stuck.  I had to get a minor surgery to get that sucker out since it didn't pass on it's own after several hours.

You will know if it's Gall bladder pain as it's worse then labour. You can't sit or lie down or even stand nothing makes it better.

Oh this has happened to me! The only thing that helped me is throwing up. Its most likely acid reflux. Dr can prescribe some meds to prevent it in the future.

I'm having the same thing it is so bad I went to the ER today. They prescribed me Pepcid it did a little bit but I'm still hurting bad.
