IUD - yes or no?

What are your experiences with an IUD? I'm thinking of getting one but wanted to know first what you all think!

Got my paragard iud 1 month ago and have not regretted it one bit! Was painful (It pinched) being put in, but I had my partner with me, which helped a tremendous amount!  (I'm abit of a sook). If you have the option, I'd say go ahead with whatever iud you choose!

I love my copper Paraguard IUD!

My mom has the copper. She's on her second one. She said it felt kinda sore going in and coming out, and it made her periods heavier, but also lighter and less crampy. She likes it.
