I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have fleas in my house biting me to bits :( how do I get rid??

Will it harm my baby (unborn or born?). I imagine that there is no risk of disease from them as I live in the UK and that is rare but it's going to irritate my baby if I've not managed to get rid of them before she's born. If she's bitten, as the bites are huge itchy sore blisters.

I don't have pets but picked up the fleas whilst at my nans house, who has a dog and is currently trying to get rid of the fleas with flea spray for the house and treatment for the dog. But I'm not sure what's safe and effective to use whilst pregnant?? Going to ask the midwife when I see her in a couple of days, But I'm desperate to get going on trying to get rid of them asap.
