IVF Questions?

Sarah

We found out finally (after about 4 months of testing) that my DH has testicular cancer. Good news is that they have found it and it is one of the "best" cancers to have. We have done 3 rounds of sperm banking (got 8 vials) and on Monday we got the count results. Looks like we are dealing with a range of 0.15-0.6 million, so ivf and maybe icsi will be our only chance to have a baby once he starts chemo.

My cycles are like clockwork, my bbt is text book, and I do get positive opk's. My only downfall is my weight, which I'm working on. My husband wants to go through chemo and get a clean bill of health (as clean as you get with cancer anyways) before we start down the ivf road and I agree. So I have some time to prep for IVF and I am wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions on thing I can do or prepare ahead of time for the doctors?

I am still taking prenatal vitamins because I wanted to finish the bottle and I don't think they hurt me, so I will probably continue on them. Also, I am charting my bbt in an app that I can print my chart from and put it in a binder with all the other IVF stuff I'm gathering.

I really want to make it count when we finally get to the ivf stage, so any advice or help would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks ladies!!
