measuring a week ahead
So last Thursday I went to doctor for my 36 week check up. I was 36 weeks two days. I'm due July 12th. My baby has been predicted to be around 7 pounds according to our last ultrasound. But this time she measured my belly and was like oh we are going to have a big baby. Maybe an 8 or 9 pounder. I was like what I don't want to push that out. And she pushed on my belly a little to feel how baby was positioned I guess. She did my first. Cervical check and I am only 1cm dilated. I was also disappointed with that because I have been having so much vagina and pelvic pain I was sure I would be more dilated. But this is my first so I don't really know.
I was upset and called the next day I see what my belly actually measured cause I forgot to even ask in there. They said I measure at 37 weeks. Which really isn't that far ahead. I have been measuring right on or slightly under this whole time so it was the first time to go over.
My mom was twice my size with me and my brothers and I was 5 pounds and my brothers were six. Soooooo.......do y'all think that really means I will be having a big baby or not?
