No, because the justice system protects the rich, the white, and those who work as Police Officers.

POC, victims of police brutality, rape victims, and people in poverty are continuously vilified or blamed for the crimes they were victim to.

I know the post was US centric, but I think these are issues that are quite similar amongst different justice systems.

You mean the system that throws you in jail for 20 yrs for marijuana possession,  bit gives 4 yrs for rape? The one that let's a rich white asshole kid get away with raping a girl behind a dumpster? The system that let Caseys Anthony and George Zimmerman off?  Yeah,  not so much

Of course I don't 😂. I am a POC. POC are given harsher sentencing compared to their white counterparts and in many cases POC are targeted unfairly. Police have gotten away with killing innocent POC so of course I don't trust the justice system

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't think the CJ system is just. After, watching the documentary 13th I now see things differently and not for the good.

The documentary really puts things into perspective on the 13th amendment, mass incarceration, and slavery. Presidents Nixon, Regan, Bush, and Clinton all made matters worse for POC, the communities it effected, and the families. What I discovered was, mass incarceration was/is a loophole for slavery in the CJ system. It tears families apart and offers free manual labor for corporations and businesses. It is such a massive entity that undoing the wrong that has been forced upon POC those that want reform are not willing to touch the root cause of the issue of race.
