Colic?

Can my baby have colic in the a.m. for the last 4 days it's round 12 to 2ish he just screams wonnt latch on and nothing I do will soothe him. Then he sleeps for 4-6 hrs

I've had similar issues the last couple of days, and it didn't seem to be 1 thing in particular.

Try these;

•your breasts may be too engorged to latch on to. My daughter was obviously hungry and would have a melt down each feed. I asked on here and some ladies suggested expressing a bit and trying again; worked a treat! I expressed an oz from each breast and she latched straight away.

•if that doesn't work, check to see if your baby stops crying when sitting upright. Mine had a melt down yesterday morning and last night every time she was horizontal. In the morning, we realised I over fed her and her little tummy was uncomfortable. After a couple of hours of laying on my shoulder upright, she was fine. Last night, she was colicky, and needed similar treatment, but with lots of back patting and back rubs to get the gas moving. She doesn't burp well :(
