My dr has always said after a check I might have light pink spotting that day.. if I were you I would call just incase. That doesn't look like light spotting and I wouldn't expect it to be from your check days later.

They are the same thing and that looks like it! Sometimes it comes in a big chunk similar to yours and aometimes its more slowly.

The mucous plug can come out all at once or in bits, it should not have blood in it. It can regenerate and doesn't really signal too much. Once you see the bloody show, or what looks just like your mucous plug but with blood that's pretty much saying labor is close. From what I'm told watch for your water breaking or contractions coming soon!
