Congested sounding baby every night!!!!

Every night when my LO goes to bed he gets congested.. it sounds like his airways and just closing. He starts gasping if he has his pacifier in and spits it out so he can breath out of his mouth. It may happen in through out the day sometimes. But always at night. Any other mommas experience this? Calling his Pedi tomorrow, I'm thinking he may need to see a ENT specialist.
