changing contraception

I've had the implant for 8 years now and it has served me well but im ready to take it out. I feel like I want to let my body do it's thing and actually get back to having a regular cycle. I don't like the idea of having it for any longer as worries about how it affects my cycle in the long term. Have spoken to my partner who isn't keen on using condoms but he's just gonna have to suck it up, why should I be the only one to have to worry about contraception 😒😉
