How to spice things up in the bedroom??

My boyfriend and I have been together well over a year now.. don't get me wrong, the sex is amazing but it's always the same (missionary to doggy to cowgirl... always) and I really just want to change things up a bit but not sure where to begin. We don't live together yet, so we've been hesitant on toys because he doesn't want his roommate to find them or anything... so idk what to do!
