I don't think sex determines this. However, women are the ones that give birth which is one of the most painful things any human endures.

Generally depends on the person, but because women tend to get a lot more pain related chronic illnesses than men (pcos, SLE, Celiac, etc.), I think because of that IN GENERAL more women have a high pain tolerance compared to men.

I have lupus and have a high pain tolerance, but because of fibro any hit to my skin hurts 10x as much.

My hubby got his finger sliced to need 8 stitches while he was at work and it barely phased him. That man is a beast. 😂

Actually men have a higher pain tolerance. Pain scan levels (??) Have like prove getting kicked in the balls is equivalent to giving birth, and guys get kicked in the balls more often than women give birth.
