husband taking norcos

So my husband decided he'd find someone with norcos and take some for his back pain. I was against this because I'm just scared he'll get addicted to it cause his back has been hurting for a long time and the norcos have finally relieved some pain. I told him instead of using that, he should go to the doctors and check it out. And that norcos wouldn't make the pain go away, it would just relieve it. He also said the painkillers gave him a high and he sort of felt good. Like a really good high. When I told him how I felt about taking norcos, he went off on me about how he's a grown man and he can do whatever he wants. And that I have no right to say anything
