For the last 2 days I've had some mild period like cramps and feel like I'm gonna start my period and I'm 35 weeks. Is that normal ?!

That's not the beginning of labor. It's simply cramping. Are you drinking tons of water daily? As even slight dehydration can cause cramping.
If your abdomen is right and hard during the cramping you are having braxton hicks.
Just keep track of how you are feeling and if you get 4 in an hour lasting 60 to 90 seconds you need to call your ob as you are preterm
