Sadly, I had a miscarriage last month, on May 5th. My husband and I wanted to try again right away. I ovulated about two weeks later after I finished bleeding, so we decided to try. I am certain I know the date of conception (may 29th) , so I am calculating my weeks by that date. I have been going to my regular obgyn office to get
hcg blood tests every other day to make sure there rising normally so far i've gone from 25 to 80 then over the weekend I went up to 570, so i am more than doubling. They told me once my hcg was over 1500 then they would schedule me for an ultrasound. She told me at the rate my hcg is rising I can schedule something for this friday (hcg should be over 2000 by then). When I called the office where the ultrasounds are done, they said that going off my date of conception, i'd only be about 3 weeks. Which doesn't make sense since my hcg is high for 3 weeks? So i'm not sure, do i count my miscarriage as a period? Or just go by date of conception???
