My whole pregnancy has been awesome! My baby boy took very good care of mama the whole pregnancy (unlike my firstborn.) From a nice clean face to my hair growing and only gaining 15 pounds throughout the 10 months.Baby boy did not wanna get out of his stay in mamas womb. I went through 40 weeks and 5 days before the doctor decided to induce me. I remember the doctor telling me that Thursday June 8, that I was put on a waiting list to be induced ! I was excited because the day was just closer then ever ! I got a phone call on Friday June 9 at 10:30 am to pack my bag and head into the hospital, although labor is no fun I was anxious and so very excited to meet my newborn . I checked into the hospital at 11 am as my mom dismissed my daughter from school and kept her home with aunty. They started petocin at about 1 pm and was already 3 cm dilated .by 6 o'clock I was only 4 cm open and felt like I was never going to dilate ! Eating Ice chips was all I could do because I was so numb from the epidural. By midnight I had only dilated 6 cm, they kept me on petocin til about 7 am, only reaching 7 cm of dilation. I was overwhelmed and exhausted . by then I had asked the doctor about the chances of a c section and by 930 I was ready for my cesarean ! I was very nervous because I have never had surgery before but I know this was totally worth it ! I was finally able to hear my little muffin cry at 9:47 am . the wait was over I had my child in my arms 💙 20 hours of anxious labor were so very worth it . 9 Lbs and 7 Oz 👣 Baby Avery L.
