Change Drs?

Hey ladies, I need advice.

I like my doctor. She came highly recommended from all the already-parents in my squadron. But because she is so good and so well liked, she is busy as heck! She rushes through our appointments and is very short and almost rude. I totally understand why, but I don't know if I should have to put up with it?

I feel confident in that she is a very knowledgeable doctor and is good for me and my princess.

But I want one who is as friendly as she is knowledgeable. I don't want to sacrifice feeling comfortable with her as a person for her reputation as a doctor.  Ya know?

I'm 26 weeks along, so I still have a ways to go with this. Should I look into finding a new one or just stick it out?

I'd change to another doctor! I always get nervous with super busy doctors that they are gonna potentially miss something, simply bc their patient volume is so high! That's not necessarily true, it's just my own thought. Find a slightly less busy doctor that you don't feel rushed with! This is supposed to be a wonderful, significant time!!

My dr was like that, I liked her but she was very short and always in a hurry. I changed drs and I'm so glad I did. I have a dr now who sits and talks to me every appointment and never rushes through and I just feel so much more involved and informed on my pregnancy
