We were told there was a choroid plexus cyst on the brain and an echogenic intracardiac focus (bright spot) found on the heart.  Apparently, one is these is soft markers for Trisomy 18 and the other is a soft marker for Downs Syndrome.  I am 29 and this is my first time conceiving.  Neither me or my husband have any family history of chromosomal defects and everything else on the anatomy scan seemed to measure perfectly.  I'm looking for advice, stories, or hope from anyone that received a similar result.   We decided to do a blood testing and we are currently waiting for those results to come back.  I'm so worried and feel so disconnected.
