My son is turning 1 on July 5 and we are having a small get together for him on July 9 ( immediate family only ). Well I told my mom and her response was people always like having private party. ( she is invited) I told her that we can't afford to have a big party and plus my son don't really fool with anyone except my husband and I. Well, my brother and mom is talking about not coming because of work. They both work third shift and the party is at noon. They come visit my son because I live to far ( 30 mins away). But they want to visit they house all time. They always say u keep him away for us but they don't want to come to his birthday celebration. I don't get it
