Hopefully one of you can help me

I am 5w6d as of today and I found out on father's day I was pregnant. On Monday I did my first HCG test and that was low 63, then a little under 48 hours (42ish) I did another one and that was at a 97. Yesterday my primary doctor decided to do a ultrasound to see if we could see a baby but she said she didn't see anything and believes because of my numbers she believes I have a ectopic pregnancy.

Today I have an appt with a obgyn to see what my next step is. Either the shot to terminate so I do not rupture my tubes or another blood test. I have not had any spotting or bleeding or any pelvic pains. I feel normal, well as normal as can be at this point.

I keep feeling this little voice telling me my baby is still with me and give it time. But is that just me hoping or is that how strong my mother's instinct is?

I know exactly when I conceived, June 1st or the 3rd. LMP was may 13th. Could it be too early?

Any help would be great!
