Why would my work cut my hours?
I was scheduled for two days this week, the second day being tomorrow. I just received a voicemail saying that my 5-hour shift tomorrow was being cut. I work at Kohl's.
I am still scheduled for my hours next week and the schedule for the week after was just posted today and I work 3 days. Last week, I worked almost every day, so I'm guessing that may by why (28 hour check and I'm part-time, used to working 2-3 days a week).
Why would my work cut my hours on such short notice? Does this mean they don't like me/I'm going to be fired? I'm a huge worrier and this is stressing me out now. I've only been there 3 months now and I've never had my hours cut before.
