stabbing vagina pain?

anybody else experienced this? it feels like your cervix is being stabbed. is this bad? I'm about 18 weeks. please respond:/

I went through that starting around 13 weeks. My doc was worried I was trying to dialate or that my cervix was shortening. They immediately did an ultrasound and Little Miss was actually kicking my cervix. We watched it on the screen for almost 15 minutes. She had her feet actually resting on the inside of my cervix and every move she made I got those lightening pains through my cervix. My doc was so shocked that I could feel it and that we saw it so many times on the scan. I'm 22 weeks now and she still does it occasionally, maybe once a week. She spends the rest of her time practicing karate! Lol.
