Can I eat before 1 hr Glucose?

My lab paper doesn't say if I'm supposed to fast or not. Anyone know?

Yes my doctor said you can eat before but after you drink the glucola thing then you can't have anything to eat or drink!

I ate before the first one and failed. I had to get the 4 blood test one after and I could not eat before. If I had to do it all over again I would not eat before the first one.

My doctor told me I could eat or drink whatever I wanted (avoid really sugary stuff) before hand but once I had the drink, I couldn't even have water. I guess Each doc is different

One hour is non fasting eat scrambled eggs or something like that couple hours before. No sugar or carbs or fruit. I just did mine last week and passed! Good luck!!

My doctor didn't have me fast, but some do. It's best to call and ask.
