I'm so petty

Ruby

I live with my boyfriend and his friend in a small apartment. I've been getting fed up with having to clean after D, the roommate. I don't mind cleaning up after Z, my boyfriend because he doesn't make that much of a mess.

First off, D has the big room in the apartment with the walk in closet. Because he apparently has more stuff than the two of us compined. But we had to leave a lot of stuff at Z's parents house to compensate for our tiny bedroom.

D, has a computer with two monitors, an AC, and a huge flat-screen TV with a Xbox. He doesn't care about how much electricity he uses. He will have all of it running, even when he leaves to go somewhere.

In our bedroom we have our bed, a nightstand and a dresser which we can't get into the bottom drawers because the bed blocks them. That's it, that's all we can fit in our room.

When D showers he will put the heater on in the bathroom even when it's 90° outside. And sometimes even puts Z's or my towel on the floor by the door to block the heat from getting out.

The other night D and I were talking about cooking dinner one night. He told me as long as we buy our own food.

I'm like "what are you talking about? We always buy our food."

He says, "no I usually buy it."

I asked him to give me an example.

He said "when i made meatloaf."

Aw man that really pissed me off because to make that meatloaf he used our ingredients, Apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, onion. And I thought but didn't tell him, "kinda like the night before that when we made enchiladas and offered you some. Or the sloppy Joe's before that night".

Everything in the house: Ranch, mayo, peanut butter, butter, flour, sugar, all the baking stuff and seasonings. All the sauces and flavoring is ours. He does not hesitate to use it. WHEN HE USES RANCH he uses like a full cup. I never even touched the brown sugar yet and he used it all with his baking (he never offers us some).

WHEN THAT STUFF RUNS OUT, he writes it on the white board reminding us to get it. When ever we go grocery shopping with out him he will remind us to get it. He has never once bought that stuff. We went with out ranch for about 2 weeks before we sucked it up and bought it ourselves.

There is so much more I could say but... ugh!

So today I literally when through our cupboards and fridge and put all of Z's and my stuff on the left side. Aw man it looks so good.

I also cleaned the whole place, expect for his dishes in the sink from Saturday along with It would have been easy to just throw it in the dishwasher but I'm not his mom. He is capable.

He has never once took out the trash once in 6 months. But doesn't have a problem piling it to the top making it unable to close the bag. Never once bought toilet paper, or paper towels. Ugh just everything.

Before he got home I used all the ice, because apparently he needs 15 ice cups for one glass of water. I hid the glasses of ice in the bedroom. Haha I can't get over how petty I am right now, but I don't really care.

Lesson to people about to move in with a friend. Don't believe them when they tell you that they are neat, and will buy their own shit. NOPE, never again will I move in with a friend

Just a rant. To blow off some steam.
