When to have the baby shower

Mine was last weekend, right before I hit 32 weeks, and I wish it had been a lot sooner. We didn't get much that we asked for, so now I have to get a ton of necessities, as well as trying to finish a nursery with no decorations. She received no clothes or blankets AT ALL, and no diapers. So, I've got a ton to do, and the stress isn't great, considering I've had a super low stress pregnancy so far. Now, I feel the need to rush to get her the things she'll need and get her room ready-ish before she arrives.

My first was right after we graduated with my friends when I was around 6 months. My family had a surprise one where I got most of my necessities around 8 months and good thing too because that next weekend is when I gave birth 😂😂

Had mine at 26 weeks so I could have plenty of time to see what else we needed and have time to save up if needed :) it was great! Nothing i would do different

I'm doing mine at 27 weeks because that's the last week my SO will be in the country until the month the baby is due (he goes to university in Canada).

I had my baby shower at 30 weeks.  I didn't want to do it later and be too big not enjoy my day.  Also, it gave us enough time to return and exchange gifts.  It also gave us time to purchase items we didn't receive at the shower.

Doing mine around 30 weeks also, so that I have time to buy anything I don't get at the shower.
