What did y'all do to prepare for labor?

I'm 40+2 with my first and i want to know what i can do to go into labor or how to prepare myself. Cervix is thin,  baby is head down as of last week but i have no other signs.

Walk, I walked for an hour went from 3cm to 5 and was admitted.

Ready the bag and car seat. Chill. My midwife suggested a glass of wine and a lot of sex at 40 weeks. I don't know if it worked. But hubby got more sex than he could handle from 36 weeks until I had baby at 40+3 😂

People say have sex but I know I don't want to. I can't stand it right now (22 weeks) and at that time I doubt I will either. Try swimming if you can where you are. And try tred mill and stairs.

Also, to prepare yurself do some squats, if yu have a yoga ball bounce on tht a bit, take a walk, have sex! 😋

Just make sure bags have been packed [which I'm sure at this point you've already dne this] and car seat is installed. Rest, rest, rest!
