smelling down there?

Kind of embarrassed so that's why anonymous doing this.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I've noticed I smell down there. I shower everyday so I don't know what's going on!

Is it the increase in hormones? Please tell me someone else has gone through this with their pregnancy!

(Also it doesn't itch, burn, no discharge, or look infected)

It's normal the doctor told me as long as there isn't blood or discharge. It's an increase in hormones. Eventually you'll smell milk in your boobs as you get closer to giving birth. It's common to taste metal or have like a metallic almost period smell too. It's all hormones.

I noticed the same thing. I haven't had any infections or anything, but had a different smell because of the increased discharge. I  have also been very swollen down there since the beginning, so I noticed I sweat more down there, especially when I work out (gross, I know). I bought those flushable wet wipe things and keep a package in each bathroom at home so I can freshen up throughout the day.

I had that same problem when I was about 2 months  and I had bv I was so embarrassed my hubby was actually the one that smelled it but antibiotics cleared it up I also stopped using soap to wash the inside of my vagina because I always got yeast infections and I haven't had one since I stopped

You could have bactirial vaginosis. See your nurse to get swabbed and wait for the results. It's just a prescription cream of antibiotics for 5 days. It's not an std. it's just happens to woman from time to time. Xx

U r probably getting an uti or an infection call ur doctor and see what they say it's better if u caught it earlier than later

Extra fluids and such! If you are worried get it checked out. More prone to get uti and yeast infections and strep b.

You don't need to be embarrassed about it. If it smells fishy, call your doctor. If it burns or is itchy, then call your doctor :)
