So I tested today and it was negative . (1 semi faint positive) and I got an extreme positive on a ovulation test (and before the comments hit no there's no chance I ovulated late I did trigger shot & iui) I've read up on the opk detecting hcg theory and I know it's a huge debate but I personally thing it works just not for every woman. Well I've been doing it every cycle I just pee on one just for kicks and laughs to see. Well today it showed one of the strongest positives . I'm 3 days late by the way. I called my ob and he had said that normally some Won't get a positive till 1-2 weeks after a missed period . Also I should note I had the WORST 3 minute cramp Thursday night followed by a sharp shooting quick cramp in my right ovary / pelvic area Friday morning and brown mucous discharge (only when whipping) so ideally I'm guessing that's when implantation happened and Friday 06/23 was the day I was supposed to get my period same day implantation might of happened . I know it takes 6-7 days to get a positive after ovulation .
My question is basically should I be discouraged from seeing negatives today? Or is there still a change I could be pregnant? I knew I shouldn't have tested yet but my wife was so pushy 😭😭😭😭
