Tear in placenta

So I found out I have a tear in my placenta. I haven't had the conformation call yet from the doctor but the ultrasound tech could clearly show me the tear in my placenta and I don't know what to expect other then bed rest or at the very least "taking it easier" and I'm worried...how did this go for other mommies? Any special appointments and how did that work with Labour and delivery? I'm only 24 weeks 5 days so I'm hoping I have enough time to heal...thank in advance
