Traveling at 29 weeks?

We r thinking to travel to another state about 3 hours by plane. Dont know if itnis safe at this stage of pregnancy. Have u ladies traveled around 29 weeks?

It depends on the airline.  Many won't let you fly after 28 weeks.

I flew cross-country for work multiple times through this pregnancy, most recently at 34 weeks, with no issues. Speak to your provider and clear it with them, but if you've been low-risk through your pregnancy there's really no reason why not. The statistical odds of spontaneous labor that early, for a normal pregnancy, are *extremely* low (though you might want to consider that if you do happen to give birth when you're not in your hometown, you'll be stuck at a NICU at your travel destination for maybe quite a while since a baby that premature won't be able to safely transfer). I always took a copy of my full medical records with me just in case, since I was going to be in another state for a week on each trip. But honestly, your biggest risk is going to just be slight dehydration, and airplane seats are damn uncomfortable once you're getting big. Get up and walk the aisle a lot!
