Any other mamas skipping rice cereal?

I started it last night. I'm excited for him to have it and he likes it. The pediatrician recommended it, and I trust him as my doctor.

I tried it but she didn't even like it and it constipated her, my doctor said if I do any cereals I should do oatmeal cause there's no nutrition in the rice

Tried it and daughter hated it. She's on veggies now and loves it!

I did rice for a few days. My son had bad diarrhea and the doctor at the ER said to give him rice cereal to help constipate him. It helped so much and he's doing great now. A little rice cereal is not the worst thing in the world. Sometimes it really helps.

We are! I just took my daughter to her 4 month checkup today and the physician's assistant said she could begin solids now and to start with rice cereal. I've read this same infographic before and have done other research and have decided against it. I plan on waiting until 6 months to start solids as it is because she is ebf.
